Another reversible koozies idea

Can koozies and bottle koozies are enormously popular nowadays in parties and social occasions. Besides providing the functional purpose of keeping beverages such as soda or beer cool and refreshing at a very low price, these can koozies are also quite popular as promotional materials used by corporate marketers who have thus found a low cost medium of advertising.

However, the can koozies industry is quite competitive as we had discussed in a previous post, where I had suggested the idea of a reversible koozie. I would like to extend the concept and provide another new suggestion that koozies manufacturers can use to sell more product. And that is to have alternate imprints on either side. For example, one side could say Pepsi cola and the other side could say Coca cola.

The real value of this I believe is in avoiding conflicts in parties and social meetings. For example, if the host walks around with a koozie that promotes a specific baseball team such as the Yankees, but his most important guest is a fan of their bitter competitor the Red Sox, then if the koozie had two contending team promotions on either side, the host could turn the koozie inside out and placate the guest. The same is true of political party promotions -- one side says “I support republicans” and the other side could say “Support the democrats”. Similarly, one side could say Obama and the other side McCain!

Thus since koozies have also become conversation pieces, they can also avoid conflicts and arguments by simply have the opposing viewpoint on their reverse!

Hopefully someone likes my idea and can throw me a couple of bucks.
